Are you still stuck in the Fast Fashion LOOP?

Fast fashion is something “we’ve all been sucked into” but the “atrocious” impact is now much more evident, and people have started to wake up to it. our vision is to introduce those who have not yet converted: “to what a beautiful, versatile and practical fabric it is, and how a classic fabric will stand the test of time.”

How to make millennials aware if they’re still stuck in the fast fashion loop?

  1. Buy lessBefore going out to buy something new, ask yourself if you really need that item.
  2. Buy clothes from brands that have recycling and upcycling programs.
  3. Choose to buy from brands that are both affordable and offer quality products. As ethical and sustainable clothing brands gain popularity, they will continue to become more affordable. Support organizations that include sustainability in their mission when possible.
  4. Instead of donating to large chain thrift store charities, donate to a local shelter or nonprofit organization that gives clothes directly to those in need in your community.

You can choose to book a door step pick up of your donations on Happieesouls and we deliver it to the local orphanages, old age homes, shelter homes and grassroots NGOs.

     5.  Support local artisans by buying handmade, eco-friendly goods supporting Indian made     products

We can't continue to consume and discard clothing in the way we have, because of the environmental impact of production and transportation, the waste from unwanted clothing and frequently the awful conditions suffered by people in the supply chain. This industry is nothing without effective supply chains. With fashion supply chains contributing as the 3rd highest producer of global emissions amongst the main eight supply chains according to the World Economic Forum 'Net Zero Challenge: Supply Chain Opportunity Insights Report' dated January 2021.

Social media and influencers supporting sustainability and slow fashion has a big part to play in sharing the message and more resources submerge daily that allow people to really understand what fast fashion has done. We estimate that there are 300 plus million people working in fashion and related sectors worldwide. If we can build collaboration between those professionals who want to see change – we can move mountains and make this world a better place for every living being.
