Summary
Abilashrayam Trust is a registered Indian Non Government, Non Religious, Non Profit, Social Service Organization working on child rights, senior citizen rights, women welfare, youth support & rural development across India. Being an NGO in bangalore, we have our projects and activities spread across many states of India.
Established in the year of 2009, the organization is devoted in looking at the wider picture; not only to help one cause but to focus on related causes like women welfare, senior citezen care, youth support and support of underprivileged children, disabled children and blind children too. We hope by doing this there will be a positive impact on the community and encourage others to make a difference.
We started our first project as "Little Pecils" orphanage in Bangalore by taking care of five children. We slowly expanded our support to close to twenty children. We later expanded our support to thousands of children, many senior citizens, Women and Youth.
At “little pencils”, we have made a sincere effort to carve an identity for the children who would have otherwise withered away in to darkness. In addition to food, clothing and shelter, standard education was the key challenge for these children. Since we have overcome this hurdle to a huge degree, we decided that “little pencils” was the most suitable name for our orphanage in Bangalore. We started using the term “little pencils” instead of calling them “orphaned/abandoned”children.
We maintain the highest standards in food, shelter, education, nutrition and health of the children at little pencils. These children enjoy the luxury of online interactive learning sessions by our overseas volunteers on a weekly basis. Show More
