GASPAR FOUNDATION :In the year 2003, Registered as St. Gaspar Charitable and Educational Trust .
The main aims of the trust is to take care of the Orphaned/Abandoned Children and provide them with Proper Shelter, Food, Education, Health Care etc. To provide Education to the Underprivileged kids of the society and help people who are in needy. About The Founder

Ms. Stephany Bridgit

Ms. Stephany Bridgit Tauro a Spinster born in the year 1954 at Mudigere, Chikmangalore and Completed T.C.H Training at Mysore and also was working at a Home for the Aged in Ooty. In the year 1977 she was appointed as a Teacher at St.Peters N.T.M School, Doresanipalya,Bangalore. Then later was transferred to St.Theresa’s Hr.Pri School, Begur .Apart from Teaching she also worked for the Mother and Child Health Care Program run by Fr.Joseph and Fr.Gali Peter from Precious Blood Missionaries for 4 years from 1996 to 2000 .As she was with the programs she found a lot of old people and children abandoned and left out in the street and used to feel bad about it and always wanted to help people in need. When Ms.Bridgit met Mother Theresa at Calcutta she was fully inspired by her works towards abandoned kids and made up her mind to give her life for service of the poor and the needy. Show More

Summary

Ms.Bridgit met Mother Theresa at Calcutta she was fully inspired by her works towards abandoned kids and made up her mind to give her life for service of the poor and the needy but she was very scared on how to do it as a spinster but Rev.Fr.Jovita Helped and motivated her by giving Financial support and Moral support and thus she decided to start a Orphanage and on the year 2003 Ms.Bridgit registered it as St. Gaspar Charitable and Educational Trust. So she started a Old Age and a Children Home but there was no school in the village and they were forcing her to open a school so even she thought maybe it is gods wish and she started a school in the village which provides education to all the under privileged kids in the village. Whatever she Earned she spent everything for her kids andthe School Building and currently she is retired and there is no source of income for her to run all the projects. But we are trying to find donors from local people and trying to run things. Even though she is not married she is a mother for 30 kids and truly it makes her feel happy when they all call her “AMMA”.
