About The Founder

Jeevan

Jeevan, the founder of ASHA KUTEER has gone through some really tough times before he decided to help people like him in need. Brought up in a family where he did not get enough love and importance from his family members, he was always a loner. Emotional loneliness does make one feel like an orphan. He fell in love with a woman, but that did not work out too. His career was not moving ahead, he had nothing strong to hold on to and went into depression. Jeevan was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder during this period of time. In spite of all these challenges, Jeevan managed to complete his Polytechnic in Computers and also has a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling. Show More

Summary

The words ‘ASHA KUTEER’ means ‘the home of hope’. Children are our lifeline. They give us hope and we need to give back the same to them. We, from ASHA KUTEER, take it up as our responsibility to work for underprivileged children. We started off as a non-profit organization in January 2013 and right now have 45 abandoned and orphaned kids under our care. Based out of Hyderabad, we have two homes for boys and one home for girls all around the same locality.

While we aim at providing food, shelter, education and medical care to the kids, we imply more on giving them the emotional support they deserve. Hope is being able to see light at the end of the tunnel. We ensure our kids’ approach life with hope every day.
