About The Founder

Dr Sridhar G

With a B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur, Dr. Sridhar went on to complete his Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University, USA. A strong desire to do something for the country prompted him to return to India in 1998 after a 3-year stint as a Research Scientist at American Standard.

The year 1998 also marked the beginning of Academic Centre for Excellence (ACE), jointly founded by Dr Sridhar and Mrs Lalit Sridhar, with a vision to provide an effective and caring academic environment that nurtures original thinking and creates young confident individuals with a sense of responsibility towards society. Together, they pioneered board and competitive coaching in Karnataka through Deeksha. Subsequently, in 2008, Ace Creative Learning Pvt. Ltd. was formed to take Deeksha to several more campuses in various cities.What started with a humble 40 students, has over the last 2 decades. Show More

Summary

Diksha’s idea of education is not confined to mere literacy alone, it focuses on the holistic education of the child by looking at the social, creative and moral development of each student. The three R’s – Relationships, Responsibility and Reverence for all life are taken into consideration while imparting education. We believe that education is a journey of self-discovery, self-love and self-esteem, and that it is a process of change from within, a change in one’s habits and world views and one’s Relationships and Responsibilities towards the community.
