Summary

The Kurnool Don Bosco Society exists in kurnool for twenty (26) years helping the poor abandoned youth through various programmes.
The scope of the institution is to impart integral formation to the boys of marginalized sections through:
Vocational training
Helping school dropouts to complete secondary education
to help children living on the street fulfill their basic needs and rights.
​A program for Street Children was started by Don Bosco NavaJeevan as an initiative to help children living on the street fulfill their basic needs and rights. The program provides for shelter, nutrition, health care, education, recreation facilities to street children, and seeks to protect them against abuse and exploitation. The project aims at building society's aareness of the rights of the child enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and in the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000. ​​The target group of this program is male children without homes and family ties i.e., street children and children especially vulnerable to abuse and exploitation.​
