Late Pastor Jesudas Wilson

Sushanti Orphanage was founded by Late Pastor Jesudas Wilson along with his wife Smt. Ratnamma Wilson on 14.06.2001. He started this orphanage at a rented house in Nanda Gokul Village 9 Kms. away from Hubli City. Keeping in mind the mission, vision & goals of this organization they sacrificed their worldly comforts and pleasure by working with a strong dedication and full commitment with their health, wealth, soul and mind. He realized his social responsibilities towards the poor in the society and started his social work with ‘Sushanti Orphanage’ from where he developed his social hand strongly.
He came to know about many people and children who have been suffering and left alone by their families. He saw orphaned children, old men and women having a difficult time without even the basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, education medication etc.

Summary

‘JESUDAS WILSON CHARITABLE TRUST’ ® a charitable trust commenced its legal existence on 14.06.2011 with wider objectives of providing relief & solace to the poor and needy by way of imparting education and social welfare in India.

Most of the people in the village are illiterate and extremely poor in the villages there are orphans many any children with single parents and families with many children having minimal income. The unexpected death of the founder, Pastor Jesudas Wilson, on 29.10.2007 added to the difficult times of the journey with financial crisis which affected the normal functioning of the orphanage. Keeping-up the good works of Pastor Jesudas Wilson, his family members continued to serve the needy. Through is has been difficult at ties to survive as the cost of living has increased and due to the high rate inflation. Wilson’s family has a strong will to continue the journey of the orphanage by the grace of
Almighty God as they have built it on the works,
“Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” (Isaiah 41;10)
Smt Ratnamma Wilson has dedicated her life in the mission by living with the orphans and taking care of them.
