About The Founder

Mr. Krishnamurthy

is social service needs no introduction. Mr. Krishnamurthy is the managing trustee of Mathru Chaya Trust. This old age home is being functioned in the memory of his beloved mother Late Smt. Parvathamma.

He has conducted blood donation camps, awarded scholarships to meritorious students and distributed free books to the students and distributed free books to the students of Government Schools.

He has been awarded the prestigious ‘Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award for Social Service’. His vision is again driven by philanthropic initiatives. He is very keen to start an ashram for widows and deserving women, help them to lead a life on their own by providing training in various fields.

Mr. Krishnamurthy also has plans to start Abalashrama, to provide education to the needy children and help them to stand firmly on their feet.

Summary

The Mathru Chaya Trust is a charitable organization, established on 19th August 2003, with a noble cause of providing shelter and support to old age citizens. The core concept is to provide selfless service to disadvantaged persons and bring difference in their life. It ensures a decent and respectable life for the disadvantaged senior citizens, which was seized from their near ones.

We are also actively involved in the upliftment of the poor and the downtrodden. Our charitable activities include free education, food and study materials to the poor children and the orphan.

Mathru Chaya Trust has been trying to alleviate the sufferings of the poor and the deprived citizens in humble but most subtle way so that they can lead their life with dignity.

As we plan to extend our services to various other needy faction of the society, we invite the likeminded to contribute their share of responsibility in form of service, financial support or moral support, because there is more in life than to be enjoyed just by self.

Mathru Chaya Trust’s Old Age Home is located in Agara village, Byrasandra main road, Kengeri hobli, Bangalore. Its nearness to Kanakapura main road, brings it closer to Bangalore.
