About The Founder
Sneha Charitable trust
Sneha Charitable Trust started Sneha Care Home & Shining Star School as a residential facility and School for children living with HIV on July 14 2008 with 20 children. It was started with the aim of developing a model programme which would comprehensively address the multi-faceted issues of children living with HIV.

Summary
The vision of Sneha Care Home is derived from a prospectve reality check about the future of children living with HIV. A fundamental analysis of their life made us to ponder the challenges of these children growing up and becoming adults with the availability of better treatment options. At the same time Governmental and non- governmental policy makers in HIV field were only bothered about the medical needs of these children and invariably brushed under the carpet the fact that they had to go through the process of natural transition from a caring, nurturing, guided and happy childhood to responsible and independent adulthood.
