About The Founder

RUCHI NADKARNI - Founder & CEO

Ruchi completed her Masters in Political Science from Mumbai University and Bachelors in Microbiology from St. Xaviers and has successfully piloted World for All along with partner Taronish Bulsara. She has since then successfully strategized organizational and financial growth of WFA, including on ground operations with animals.

Summary

World For All Animal Care & Adoptions is a registered Mumbai-based animal welfare NGO that has revolutionised the model of stray animal adoptions. Founded in late 2009, we have homed over 7500 stray animals, conducted the sterilisations for over 9000 and attended to over 10,000 emergency medical aid calls.

PLEASE HELP KOBE Kobe is an old stray having no specific space to call home. One day Kobe wandered to a locality and took shelter from the blazing sun under a roof. Unfortunately the residents did not take kindly to him resting there and threw hot water on his back to shoo him away. Yelping and howling in pain, Kobe ran away to a construction site and lay there in agony for days until his distressed cries alerted passer-by’s. Unfortunately the wound had festered with more than 100 maggots eating away at his flesh down to his spinal cord. Kobe could barely stand on his own and whimpered when touched. Kobe’s treatment will come to INR 12,390/- which is inclusive of First Aid – INR 650, Transport (4 vet visits) – INR 1,000, Grooming with antiseptic – INR 600, Medication and regular dressing – INR 2,400, Critical Foster Care (5 weeks) – INR 4,440, Recovery Food and Saline – INR 1,800, Vaccination and Deworming – INR 1,500 Please help us help Kobe recover from this to
