About The Founder
Ms. Susheela Rayappa
Ms. Susheela Rayappa has got experience in teaching and in charitable works for 24 years. She has also worked in Mumbai and Belgaum as a teacher and social worker. Being trained in Montessori, Tailoring, embroidery, B.Ed. and Counselling she picked up skills necessary to look after orphans and women in distress. She is sweet and firm with children and humane to ladies in distress
Summary
‘Jnana Mandira’ a Home for the Orphans, semi Orphans and destitute was registered as a trust in the year 2008. ‘Jnana Mandira’ a Sanskrit term means temple of knowledge. The house provides a strong foundation for the relationships and social skills and human values. Above all, it’s a HOME that caters over all development of children, provides quality education irrespective of caste, creed and colour.
